Privacy Policy
Summary (TL;DR)
dropa does not collect your data. Period. Everything you save stays on your device. We have no server, no account, no access to your content. You don't have to take our word for it — the code is open and auditable. Read on for the details.
What Data Do We Collect?
None. dropa does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, user content, usage metadata, location, device identifiers, or browsing information. There is no analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry sent to our servers — because we have no servers.
Where Is Your Data Stored?
Exclusively on your device. Your data is saved in a local SQLite database, protected by your device's security system (Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode). Nothing is sent to the cloud unless you actively use the export feature to make your own backup.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not share data with anyone — because we have no data of yours to share. The App does not embed third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or tracking. The only external communication the app makes is with the App Store / Google Play (to validate your purchase) and APIs you explicitly trigger (such as loading a link preview for something you saved).
Payments
All App purchase transactions are processed exclusively by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store any payment information. Refer to Apple's and Google's privacy policies for details on how they handle your payment data.
Your Rights
You have the right to know what data we process about you. The answer is simple: none. You also have the right to export your data whenever you want — just use the Export function inside the App, which generates a JSON file with all your content. To delete all your data, remove the App from your device.
Changes to This Policy
Updates will be communicated through the App. If you continue using dropa after a change, we consider you in agreement with the updated version.
